Excellent mens haircut in a relaxed salon atmosphere.

I’ve been dreading finding a new place in VA to give me a deep condition treatment and cutting my hair the way I like. After searching for what seemed like forever, I stumbled upon SAGE. Called to see if they take walk-ins and Allie so sweetly booked me an appointment for later the same day. When I walked in the atmosphere was amazing. It was calming and serene. I waited maybe 5 minutes and Tia came and immediately started. She of course gave me options AND prices for two types of treatments, after asking her opinion I did the leaf and flowers deep condition which not only smelt amazing but it felt fabulous. Add the wonderful scalp massage from her and her lovely assistant… I was in heaven. Once we started the cut, she was awesome didn’t go to short, just to give me the option to ask for shorter. By time we were finished I was so extremely impressed. I even found out she was the owner, she said the most wonderful thing, her name may be the one on the building but it owns itself, with her workers help… and that she’s just another worker!!!! Giving the whole shop a complete compliment. I’ll absolutely be goin back!

Yesterday I got a haircut, color, and Baylalage highlights with Kate. She did a phenomenal job. My boyfriend commented on it several times and insisted on taking me out because I looked so good, he wanted to "show me off". The staff was very friendly and professional. The decor was lovely and the overall ambience/vibe was very warm and relaxing. There were even snacks, chocolate, and the receptionist made me a delicious latte to go when I checked out. I made a another appointment for a Brazilian Blowout and a color touch up. They have specific days of the week designated where masks are required and days without masks to accommodate everyone's comfort levels, which I found to be a smart solution for these strange times. Sage Hair Studio is my new go to for not only making my hair look fabulous, but a spa like treat for myself. By the way, I was also impressed with the way the other patron's hair looked when they were done. Made me feel like I could entrust my hair to any of the stylists on staff.
